Within the framework of the IFCC World Lab in Berlin, EVENT SERVICE RS was assigned with a follow-up project, which implied an exclusive involvement on behalf of Beckman Coulter. The target was to carry out the current “Experience More”-campaign for all relevant “customer touch points”. Subsequently, our agency drew up a special website including an online registration tool for travel, workshops, meetings and social programmes.
The strategic implementation of the project involved the identification of a first-class hotel with complete accommodation and conference capacities, which was adapted and equipped to serve as a centre, platform and starting point of the “Experience More”-event for the guests on location. Specially tailored for the needs of the different markets, “Experience More of Berlin” modules were developed. These replaced conventional business dinners and were bookable on a daily basis for smaller and larger groups. For this purpose, wide-ranging transport facilities, multilingual guides as well as culinary, architectural and history-steeped peculiarities of different city districts were not only used in a harmonic way but also dramaturgically presented.
More than 800 registered participants from 27 nations, approximately 2000 overnight stays in hotels as well as transfers, “Experience More of Berlin”-modules and individual event participations were realised. The campaign was nominated for the category “Corporate Events” at the Austrian Event Award and, in 2013, found its continuation in Milan under the motto “lab forward”.
