„Raw-Industrial“ is probably the best term to describe the stage used to launch the business year of the METRO C&C Austria Ltd. For the introduction of the new management and the presentation of the company‘s strategic aims, the kick off for 200 executives is impressively staged on the different levels of the Metastadt in Vienna. In this context and on behalf of the executive board, EVENT SERVICE RS uses the run-up of the event to start an extensive 360-degree research project that results in the preliminary production of an emotional opening trailer and and an entertaining short movie aimed at the illustration of strategic core topics. Providing a „market view“ in the form of short video clips, an editorial team additionally manages to capture an up-to-date atmospheric image of different markets, which also relies directly on customers and potential target groups.
Infotainment on the main stage starts with a pattern breaker: in methodical, excellently prepared steps, „Jonglator“ Stefan Ehlers provides an understanding of the topic by successfully demonstrating how new things can rapidly be learned and implemented. Juggling balls for all participants are distributed on the raised platform in the auditorium. Following the keynote speech by the CEO and supported by the pre-produced video clips, thrilling rounds of talks with business partners, customers and opinion leaders provide information on red-hot issues and current market perceptions. Entertaining, intense and content-related impulses are paired with casual „active elements“ using closely linked contents. An expert quiz playfully strengthens and consolidates the strategic aims and measures.
Immediately after the informative parts of the program, German TV cook Mike Süßer invites his guests to shift perspectives and follow him to a joint cooking event on the two top floors of the venue. Two superbly equipped kitchens with food and non-food items from METRO‘s gastronomy sector await the participants. Instructed by cooks and specially trained advisors, they cut, stir and cook before finally enjoying a delicious dinner.
